What’s your favourite book?

I spend about two hours a day on the train commuting in and out of London. This means I get through books like nobody’s business. I have now read every single book I wanted to read after doing this for almost two years. I need more books to read!
What’s your mostest favouritest book ever?

  1. Hmm. Too hard. Need two!

    Fiction: “Foucault’s Pendulum” by Eco
Faction: “The pleasure of finding things out” by Feynman.

  2. Very difficult to say. Big fan of sci-fi and trashy thrillers. Nothing too high brow for me.

    Books I’ve enjoyed most recently:
    Decipher by Stel Pavlou
Tell No One by Harlen Coben

Commuting? When did you move out of London? I miss my reading time on the train.

  3. Jonathan Franzen
    The Corrections

    Bill Bryson
A Short History of Nearly Everthing

    Jeffrey Eugenidis

  4. On the basis of an excellent sci-fi geek suggestion by Mr Pete Stott, I’m now working my way through the Hyperion books by Dan Simmons. The Shrike rocks.

And the first of the series has a beautifully designed cover from this series:

Judge a book by its cover and all that.
